Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account information — your email address and the profile details you enter yourself (display name, bio, niche, avatar).
• Social stats and recent posts — follower counts, engagement rate, average views, and your most recent posts, fetched from the Instagram and TikTok APIs. We only fetch this after you explicitly authorize it by connecting your account.
• Kit viewer events — anonymous view counts on your public media kit page. When private share links launch, we will also record opens, section views, and clicks tied to the specific link you shared, so you can see how your kit is performing with the brand you shared it with.

Why we collect it

Account information and social stats are collected to build and keep your media kit up to date — this is necessary to provide the service you signed up for (contract).

When private share links launch, viewer analytics on those links will be processed under legitimate interest: they help you, the creator, understand engagement with the brands you share your kit with. We will keep this proportionate — tied to the link you shared, not used to build profiles of individual visitors, and never sold or used for advertising.

Where it's stored

Your data is stored on servers located in the EU (Hetzner). Access tokens for your connected platforms are encrypted at rest and are only ever used to fetch the stats shown on your kit.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. If you disconnect a platform, we immediately stop fetching new data from it, and you can ask us to delete the stats already stored for that platform. If you delete your account, all of your data — profile, stats, and viewer analytics — is deleted.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, and export (port) your data, and to object to how it's used. To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@bragdeck.com.

Third parties

We connect to the Instagram and TikTok APIs to fetch the data you authorize when you link your account, in accordance with each platform's own terms and developer policies. We only fetch what you authorize. We also use an email delivery provider to send you sign-in links. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Data deletion

You can disconnect any connected platform at any time from your dashboard — this stops us fetching new data immediately. To request deletion of all data associated with a specific platform connection, or full deletion of your account and all associated data, email privacy@bragdeck.com and we will action it promptly.
